Chromaticity Park
The vision for Chromaticity Park is a vibrant park-scape that is attractive and engaging throughout the year for the community and users of all ages. The proposed design enhances its presence and identity through the implementation of graphic geometry and vibrant coloration into the design interventions.
Overall site design strategy embraces the total human ecosystem approach where humans along with their activities are part of the landscape. Our approach is to insert aggregates of activities and new comfortable pathways minimizing damage to the existing natural conditions of the park. Placement of activities is based on available flat and clear areas within the topography and wooded areas of the existing park resulting in various sizes of colorful circular particles strategically plotted on the park-scape.
New arterial loop walkways will interlink aggregates of activities around the park. Whether at the outskirts of the park or in the deep woodlands, the new vibrant pathways provide overall comfortable walking and running routes. In coordination with the nature trails for challenging exercises, visitors will discover the nature anew, becoming the new point of attraction for the city of Murmansk.
